Breaking Through: New Projects from The Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design was a temporary exhibition in the Dyson Gallery in Battersea for the London Design Festival 2014. The exhibition presented the design and research work of the Royal College of Art’s Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design. The research interests of the 23 contributing designers were incredibly varied, ranging from an algorithm to improve knee surgery to a new London Taxi.

This wide variety of projects required a simple, bold unifying spatial solution and this was achieved with two large tables stretching the length of the gallery and providing an undulating surface on which the projects were arranged. Exhibition graphic design by Ilhas
